From 21 to 24 November 2023 a group of Year 9 students accompanied by Ms Rodas travelled to Paris for the annual Globeducate Academic Olympics. The event kick-off with a series of robotics and STEAM challenges, making it a stimulating and enriching start to the event for all involved!
Last week, Beatrice M. and Luca F. (Year 12) had the opportunity to attend the first Globe Educate Italy Senate Session at the Canadian School of Florence.
In the last two weeks, we have run three workshops for parents to explain our approach to Wellbeing and Positive Education, and to provide strategies for parents to use in the home to support their child(ren).
Across the school, we have had a wonderful week in which kindness has been a focus for everyone. In a range of ways, we have explored Random Acts of Kindness; the importance of active listening; expressing gratitude to people who help us; having empathy for those who are different to us; and celebrating our differences.
On Saturday 11 November, Year 3 and Year 5-6 football teams competed in their first ever tournament against three other international schools in Rome - and what a fantastic first event it was!
