Elevating Student Voice
The educational experience at Rome International School is based on an effective partnership between students, parents and staff. Our approach is aligned with the ethos of the International Baccalaureate which places each student at the centre of the learning process. From curriculum and assessment to a student magazine, we ensure that our students have plenty of opportunities to actively participate in their education, in their school and wider community.
The student magazine created to represent the voice and opinions of the student body. Read the latest edition below.

Welcome to the first issue of The Blueprint magazine in 2021. With a year filled with drastic changes put behind us, we're hoping to embrace a new year that will bring a hint of normalcy to our everyday lives. The theme for this month's magazine is New Beginnings and we're going to run you through a few things you can do to get a good start this year and give you all the top news of January. With a range of topics exploring humour, serious news and advice, this month's magazine is just a taste of what's to come for the rest of the year. So stay tuned and see what's coming next!
We are so proud of our newly formed Student Council in the Middle and High School! This new group made up of prefects and elected class representatives will work with the school's Senior Leadership Team to make positive changes to our school.
Curriculum and Assessment
As a school, our recurring goal is to provide the best education for our students. To this end, we work with students, staff and parents to build a shared understanding of the curriculum and why, how and what we assess.
