Year 7 IAL Explore Italian Fashion and Culture

In Year 7 the students of IAL, intermediate level,  explored the fascinating world of fashion and clothing. Over the past few weeks, they engaged in a variety of activities that helped them understand both the language and cultural aspects of this topic. They started by learning key vocabulary related to clothing, colors and accessories.

They also studied the different types of fashion styles, from casual wear to more formal attire, and discussed the influence of fashion in Italian culture, especially in cities like Milan, which is known as one of the fashion capitals of the world.

In addition to language practice, the students also explored the history of Italian fashion, learning about famous designers like Giorgio Armani, Valentino, and Dolce & Gabbana.

Finally, students created presentations on their favorite fashion trends, showcasing their knowledge of Italian fashion terminology and sharing their personal opinions about different styles.
