Visit to the European Space Agency!
Our Year 10 and 11 technology students visited the European Space Agency (ESA) in Frascati! They first were involved in an interactive presentation of the history and work of ESA, then they went on a tour of the facility. They learnt about how earth observation using satellites has given us a new perspective on our planet, seeing how land use has changed over the last 60 years.

The students also learnt about Solar system projects that are currently being developed, such as planetary and moon observations together with a new telecommunications project for future lunar missions.

At RIS, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) play a crucial part in students' learning journey. Through a “hands-on, minds-on” approach to learning and teaching, students acquire the tools and critical thinking skills needed to solve problems.
