Join us for an insightful presentation and workshop dedicated to the Italian Curriculum at RIS Primary and Middle School. This session is essential for understanding how RIS integrates the Italian curriculum within our world-class international education.

Overall Aims & Objectives

The event will outline the guiding principles and expected competencies of our Italian program, illustrating the vertical progression (continuum of learning) and the innovative teaching strategies we employ. Our overarching goal is to highlight the value of Italian language and culture within our diverse, international context, nurturing both linguistic and cultural competency in every student.

The presentation will be led by Mr Mauro Spicci, who oversees the Italian Curriculum at all Globeducate Schools, and who will introduce the overall aims and objectives of the Italian curriculum at RIS. Detailed, stage-specific information will then be provided by:

• Early Years & Elementary School - Ms. I. Vona who will provide an in-depth look at  foundational skills, and the primary curriculum's approach to Italian language and culture and how it relates to the IB Primary Years. 
• Middle Years - Prof. L. Scoppola, who will offer an exploration of subject integration, developing critical reading and writing skills, and preparing students for the next stage of their education.
