Rome is our Classroom: Year 7's Poetic Inspiration

Earlier this week, Year 7 had a fantastic day bringing their poetry studies to life with a special trip into the heart of Rome. The visit began at the Keats and Shelley House, where students enjoyed an insightful guided tour, deepening their understanding of the learning they had been doing in class.

Afterwards, the group made their way up the Spanish Steps and on to the beautiful Villa Borghese. There, students relaxed with a picnic lunch, took part in games, and enjoyed some ice cream in the sunshine.

It was a memorable and enriching experience, giving students the chance to connect their classroom learning with the cultural and historical setting that inspired it.
