RIS Hosts Friendly Matches with St. Andrew's Scots School & St. Stephen's School

What an experience! On Monday 16^th September, RIS hosted some friendly games at our school against St. Stephen's from Rome and St. Andrew's from Argentina. The Argentinian school, based in Buenos Aires, is currently on a European tour with their basketball and volleyball teams.

These matches kicked off this year sport season in a spectacular fashion.

We played two games: basketball with our boys' team and volleyball with our girls' team against St. Andrew's. Our students demonstrated incredible commitment and teamwork in both games, making us proud with their effort and performance. 

At RIS we strongly believe that experiences like this help our students and the wider community to learn the values of sport, including teamwork, respect, and perseverance.

These matches also provide our students with the opportunity to engage with peers from different cultures, fostering international friendships and understanding.

Well done, RIS teams! We are so proud of all our athletes for their hard work and dedication!
