RIS at the European Space Agency

Mr. Parker, STEAM Coordinator at RIS, is currently attending a prestigious program at the European Space Agency (ESA) in Belgium, alongside educators from across Europe.

This program focuses on innovative robotics teaching methods, leveraging Lego models, Raspberry Pi computers, and Arduino electronics kits—all of which are being introduced at school as part of our STEAM initiative.

These cutting-edge themes will inspire and equip Mr. Parker with new strategies to engage our students in building and programming their own robots.

We are excited about the hands-on opportunities these developments will bring. With work underway to complete the RIS Space Lab as soon as possible, we are confident that the opportunities available for STEAM enrichment will inspire our students to think creatively and explore the future of technology and exploration.
