Digging into the New Year!

Our Nursery students enjoyed a winter activity, which involved some hands-on gardening. There was plenty of laughter as they explored the texture of the soil with their hands and practiced their digging skills with trowels.

The children worked hard to:

• Categorise & Choose: Selecting from small, medium, and large bulbs

• Plant with Care: Learning how to dig "cosy" holes and gently tucking the bulbs in with soil and water 

• Hypothesise: In a brilliant moment of inquiry, some children decided to plant "play" fruits and vegetables to see what might happen!

We are all looking forward to seeing what pops up to greet us as we start this winter term.
