IB results: Congratulations to the Class of 2020!

We are delighted to announce that Rome International School's IB graduates have once again consistently performed above the global average, as confirmed by the examination results released by the IB.

Despite a school year filled with challenges the Class of 2020, which is the 10th cohort to complete the two-year IB Diploma at Rome International School, achieved an average points score of 32 - above the world average of 29.9.

The highest individual points achieved was an impressive 41 points out of a possible 45 and 60% of our students were awarded a much-desired bilingual diploma, compared with an average of 30% globally.

In addition, our average grade of 5.11 is an improvement on 2019 results and is higher compared to the global average grade of 4.80. Impressively, our students also scored well above the global average in many subjects in the Language A and B groups as well as Sciences and Humanities, a reflection of the hard work and commitment of our students and teachers.

The Class of 2020 is ready to move forward with their higher education and their future is looking promising! We are very proud that our students have received offers of admission to some of the most prestigious universities worldwide.
