Celebrating Student Agency: The Year 6 PYP Exhibition

Year 6 put on an impactful showcase of innovation and inquiry for their IB Exhibition. This milestone event represents the culmination of the Primary Years Programme (PYP), and our students took the lead with passion.

The hallmark of this year’s exhibition was true student agency. Our young learners took full ownership of their learning journey. They identified issues they were personally passionate about - tackling complex global themes, including:

• Technology & Ethics - How to navigate the world of Artificial Intelligence
• Social Justice - exploring the history of Women’s Rights
• Modern Challenges - investigating the psychology of addiction and the impact of digital marketing
• Environmental Stewardship - advocating for solutions to deforestation and climate change

From designing interactive displays and digital presentations to fielding difficult questions from parents and peers, Year 6 demonstrated that they have become critical thinkers and confident communicators.

Hearing our students articulate their knowledge with such maturity made it clear that they have the skills and the independence required for Middle School. Congratulations, Year 6!
