At RIS we offer personalised university and career guidance to help our students make the best choice for their future. We are committed to staying abreast of cutting edge global career paths and university trends.
To help RIS High School parents gather more information about higher education opportunities worldwide we have organised a University Fair on Thursday 4 April, 13.30 to 15.30, level 3. The event will begin with an introduction to RIS counselling services and is great opportunity for you to meet the University Advisor, Ms Carla MacCallum.
Universities from the UK, US, The Netherlands, Denmark, Canada, Germany and Kazakhstan will be attending the event. Find out more about the institutions at this link: https://thestudentworld.edufindme.com/romeinternational.
We strongly encourage parents of students in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 to attend this event in order to find out more about university and career paths that need careful long-term planning in terms of extra-curricula activities, subject choices, summer work and academic experiences. This will also be a useful opportunity for students to gain more awareness about their future ambitions and interests.
Universities are becoming more and more competitive and very often students are not aware of exam and curriculum requirements to access these global institutions. In addition, every country has different requirements, which is why we encourage High School parents and students to take advantage of the one-to-one university counselling that is available.
If you cannot attend the event, you are welcome to contact Ms MacCallum to arrange an individual appointment at a time of your convenience. Please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
