Rome International School nominated for international award

Sustainability International Impact award finalist

We are very excited to announce that Rome International School has been shortlisted as a finalist in The PIEoneer Awards 2020, in the Sustainability International Impact category.

The PIEoneer Awards are the only global awards that celebrate achievement and innovation across the whole of the international education industry.

We are simply thrilled that the work of our Eco Committees have been acknowledged in this way, especially since there were hundreds of entries submitted.

This recognition is testament to their continuous work and efforts in engaging the entire school community in becoming more environmentally conscious. Very well done to all of the students involved and in particular, to Ms Braghetta and Ms Vanneste for coordinating the Eco School and WWF initiatives. Winners will be announced in September and no matter what the final outcome, we could not be more proud!

At Rome International School respect for the environment is a value that has increasingly become deeply embedded in school life.

As a member of the Eco-Schools international network since 2016, the school is committed to sustainability education, raising awareness of important environmental themes that engage the entire learning community.
