Eco council create compost site

Recently, Ms Sarah Ward, teaching assistant in Transition has been working with the Eco Council to build and prepare a compost site for the school. Throughout this week, Eco Council members have been actively involved in collecting organic materials in order for it to be filled with the layers of materials that are 100% recycled from school waste. You can think of it as a kind of 'lasagna' made with recycled, shredded paper; coffee grounds; dry leaves thereby eliminating waste and ensuring the continual (re)use of resources.
