Personalised support

The application process to universities around the world is a two-year-long exercise which sees our IB students working in close cooperation with our Librarian and Careers and University Counsellor.

Through workshops, one-to-one meetings, university fairs and lectures, students are assisted in identifying their study area of interest and career ambitions. Our Careers and University Counsellor uses a number of tools to help students select the best universities and provides step-by-step support for each stage in the application process.

The leaving ceremony for our final-year IB students has traditionally been one of the most important events in the school calendar. Our teachers and staff have tremendously enjoyed being able to plan, organise and celebrate the achievements of the graduating class.

The 2020 ceremony will no doubt be a lasting memory for the Year 13 class who, together with many of their peers around the world, celebrated the next stage in their journeys during the temporary closure of schools owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. In lieu of the traditional graduation event in the school Auditorium, the school organised a photo day on Thursday 4th June 2020 and a virtual leaving ceremony was held on Wednesday 10th June in order to give the Class of 2020 the farewell that they deserve.
