Joining Rome International School means becoming a member of an extended educational community.
Additional learning opportunities through Eco Schools and WWF
At Rome International School, respect for the environment is a value that has increasingly become deeply embedded in school life. The school joined the Eco-Schools international network in 2016 and continues to be committed to raising awareness of important environmental themes that engage the entire learning community.
In addition, being a member of the Globeducate family of schools provides a range of additional learning opportunities for our students. Globeducate is the first schools group to partner with WWF and this partnership aims to make sustainability education an intrinsic part of life in and beyond all Globeducate schools.
The PTA and Parent Representatives
We encourage parents to play an active role in supporting the whole school. Parents can become involved by joining our active Parent-Teacher Association or by becoming a Parent Representative. Fundraising for charity is important to our community and we support a number of national and international initiatives, particularly those with a focus on the education of disadvantaged children.
Communication and Events
We like parents to know what is happening in our school. Every Friday the weekly newsletter is sent to all families. There are also events that bring together the entire community, organised by the school, some of these include Family Saturdays, the Winter Fair, Sports Days, Book Week, the May Fair.
These occasions are not just social events. They are also valuable opportunities to learn more about the school and to play a part in helping us to provide the best quality international education for your children.
