Innovation takes center stage at RIS with the Space Lab. This exciting campus expansion is designed to provide students with immersive, hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) and was inaugurated during RIS STEAM Week (10–14 March) with special guests - Elpis Anastasiou, a pioneer in STEAM education, and Prof. Matteo Russo a professor in Robotics.
We’re excited that a group of Rome International School students is taking part in the Globeducate Model United Nations (MUN) conference in Valencia, hosted by Cambridge House British International School.
On Saturday, our Under-9 football team had a fantastic morning of football, competing against teams from the Rome International Schools Association - AOSR, Acorn, Castelli, and Marymount. The tournament was filled with high-intensity matches, showcasing impressive skill and sportsmanship from all players involved.
Globeducate students will be able to immerse themselves in British culture or master survival skills in the wonderful English countryside.
At RIS Rome International School, innovation takes center stage with the RIS Space Lab—a cutting-edge, interactive hub where students explore coding, robotics, AI, and more.
The Space Lab is an exciting expansion of our campus and will be inaugurated during STEAM Week, from Monday 10 to Friday 14 March.
IB Geography students recently embarked on an innovative STEAM project that blends technology, data science, and urban planning to create a 3D-printed model of Rome. This large-scale representation, measuring 1.5m by 2m, utilizes Earth observation data to map the city's buildings, rivers, and key landmarks.
