Middle & High Library

The Middle & High School Library provides a range of books, periodicals, magazines, DVDs and online resources to support the school curriculum and to inspire a life-long love of reading. E-readers and computers are available to use in the library allowing students to access a wide range of digital resources.

The Middle & High School librarian works with teachers to ensure the connection between the resources and the topics covered in the classroom. Helping students develop their information literacy, digital citizenship skills, their commitment to academic honesty as well as their desire to read for pleasure. The librarian delivers sessions on library orientation, citation systems for academic writing, and research skills. Library sessions are structured as an ongoing programme of meetings with progressive didactic aims and outcomes tailored to the needs of different school grades.

Readings, Book Week events, workshops and various other happenings for both students and parents take place throughout the year. Students and families are welcome to discover library books, resources and events!

The Librarian, Carla MacCallum, is a library and educational services expert.
