RIS International Fair

Our International Fair took place on October 21st, it was made possible by the teamwork of parents, students and staff members. The result of this teamwork was a wonderful afternoon, during which we listened to music, walked around a very colorful basketball court, had a very good time with our friends and colleagues, ate great food from many different countries, and contributed to a very good cause.

LUISS Guido carli; AUTOMATIC ACCESS FOR RIS STUDENTS

An exciting opportunity was announced this week for Rome International School students who achieve a 33 point score in the IB Diploma Programme, they will gain automatic access to the LUISS undergraduate courses that are taught in English, starting from the 2012-13 academic year.

A letter was sent out to parents this week explaining this in more detail.

CHINESE CLASS

Due to the popularity of the Chinese classes we have organised a third class for students in Grades 2 and 3 who would also like to participate. To enrol your child or for more information please contact office@romeinternationalschool.it


SPANISH CLUB

Exciting new Spanish Club will run from Monday October 10 (transition to grade 2) and on Thursdays from October 13 from 4.00 to 5.00 p.m. The courses will be run by mother tongue Spanish teacher Mr Victor Felipo


Bilingual Theatre Club

The Associazione Rome International School would like to draw your attention to the after-school Bilingual Theatre Club. This club is aimed at students from Grade 2 to Grade 6. It is a great opportunity for students to express themselves through theatre and music using the English language. These lessons are held every Tuesday from 15.30 to 17.00 by Miss Cavalleri and will run from now until June 2012.
